This term our we have been developing a new style of homework, called 'Learning Logs'. These are some examples of our work so far:

Children went to France for a trip and they all had lots of fun.

On Monday 23rd Novemember, it is outr 'Mask Ball Event". To make the event really special, it would be wonderful if the children could dress up in the style of a character from the play. the children will have an oppottunity to learn a Tudor style dance and compelte the performance in costume, wearing the masks that they are going to design in class. After the ball, the children will take part in a class feast, with tradutional Tudor music,drinks (squash) and 'sweet-meats' (fruit and cake) etc.
Allowing the children to dress up in style of a character is a fantasic way for the children to understand how the character could behave and feel. Dressing up days provide valuable educational opportunities and are a great source of fun.
